Flexible Project Management Options
NCC provides flexible options for project administration, document management and assessment activities.
​
Project developers may choose to work through the NCC Project Portal, a secure SharePoint-based workspace provided by NCC, the Rethink Carbon Platform, or other agreed document management approaches where appropriate. This will depend on their organisational requirements and preferences.
​
These approaches provide a secure environment for document exchange, evidence review and assessment oversight, while maintaining the same rigorous and independent validation and verification process.

By offering a choice of digital workflows, NCC helps reduce administrative burden and allows clients to focus on delivering high-quality carbon and natural capital projects.
UKAS Accreditation Status
Natural Capital Certification Ltd (NCC) is working towards accreditation by the UK Accreditation Service (UKAS) to internationally recognised standards for validation and verification bodies, including ISO 17029 and ISO 14065.

UKAS accreditation provides independent assurance of competence, impartiality and the robustness of a validation and verification body's management systems and processes.

NCC is developing its management systems and governance arrangements in support of a future UKAS accreditation application. Information regarding accreditation progress will be published on this website as the process develops.
